Secure Device Mail-In Protocols

Follow our verified chains of custody and packaging workflows to ship your evidence or storage media safely to our primary laboratory facility from any global destination.

1. Official Laboratory Shipping Address

Target Destination Hub
All packages containing forensic evidence, digital hardware, or storage media must be explicitly addressed to our central processing facility using the exact matrix below:
Data Rescue Labs Inc.
145 Traders Blvd East, Unit 8
Mississauga, Ontario, L4Z 3L3
Canada
Required Contact Coordinates
For custom invoices, waybills, or courier verification forms, utilize the following point-of-contact details to ensure immediate laboratory intake tracking:
Attention: Laboratory Intake Desk (Krzys / Rick)
Direct Phone Line: 1-416-238-1232

2. Secure Evidence Packaging Protocols

Physical Spoliation Safeguards
Digital media is highly susceptible to static anomalies and physical shock during transit. Wrap your device extensively in thick anti-static or standard bubble wrap, and isolate it inside a rigid, heavy-duty shipping box. Ensure there is no internal movement within the parcel before sealing.

3. Extracted Data Return & Target Media Options

Physical Destination Drives
You are welcome to include a blank, high-capacity external flash drive or HDD inside the package for the secure transfer of your recovered files. If no target media is supplied, our laboratory can provide a premium, certified encrypted storage drive at standard hardware rates.
Secure Digital Download
If you prefer immediate virtual access, physical media is not required. Your recovered parameters can be securely compressed and staged on our isolated network for an encrypted digital download.

4. International & United States Customs Declarations

CRITICAL: Customs Valuation Rules
If you are shipping your hardware from the United States or any destination outside of Canada, you must explicitly declare the package contents as "Defective hard drive for data recovery evaluation - No commercial value" and declare a total valuation of $10 USD for the entire shipment on the customs commercial invoice. Failure to follow this parameter will trigger arbitrary import charges and brokerage tariffs, which will be formally passed onto the client's final invoice.
Commercial Invoices
When utilizing standard courier structures, the carrier will assist you in generating a baseline commercial invoice for cross-border transit. Ensure the $10 USD valuation rule is properly enforced during generation.

5. Approved Logistics Providers & Routing Recommendations

United States Logistics
For customers located across the United States, we highly recommend utilizing FedEx Ground. It represents the most stable, cost-effective cross-border tracking network for non-emergency hardware. Do not utilize expedited premium air services unless authorized by active litigation parameters.
Global International Logistics
For shipments originating across Europe, Asia, or the Middle East, DHL represents the optimal logistics framework for speed, cost efficiency, and strict custom clearance reliability. Always request a Direct Signature Upon Delivery option when high-stakes chain of custody preservation is mandated.
